Inox Guiding Strip

The SIG France Inox Guiding Strip is part of the Tactile Information System; it is used for marking pavement for the blind and visually impaired by designating passageways.

  • Inox Guiding Strips are made of stainless steel 316 L.
  • They exhibit excellent resistance to abrasion, UV radiation, atmospheric pollution and road salt.
  • Simple installation by gluing into the drilled surface; a chemical bond ensures a very high resistance to breaking (on request, we offer templates for drilling the surface for mounting strips).

The Inox Guiding Strips comply with the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure "on the technical conditions to be met by underground facilities and their location" of 17/06/2011.

  • Length of a single strip: 2 m
  • Width: 20 mm
  • Height: 1.5-5 mm
  • Ø of mounting thread: 8 mm
  • Length of mounting thread: 15 mm
  • Number of mounting threads: 7

In contrast to products made of resin, tactile elements of stainless steel can be used both inside and outside any buildings and closed spaces.
